"We're sending your name out for my other mates weddings. Thrilled with the performance.
Thanks again

"Laurence & I are just back from honeymoon, and I wanted to drop you a mail to thank you for a fantastic set at our wedding.  We have received compliment after compliment about the music on the night - but the best praise of all was to see the dance floor packed from the moment the band came on til the moment you played the last song.  You were fantastic!!  Thanks so much

"Aidan prepared based on our extensive record collection of two and a half CDs and some in depth conversations with us - he was able to really get a feel for what we wanted despite our lack of specific tastes and delivered a really good set (?) on the night. It went down brilliantly with us and a high proportion of the guests commented on how good the music was. We loved the night and the music played no small part - absolutely no issues whatsoever and we have already recommended Aidan to several of our mates. We are also still listening to his demo cd's !"

"We first heard you play at our friends wedding in Wicklow and were very impressed, such a great mix of funky music and the dance floor was packed all evening. As we were not going to have a band, a good DJ was important to us. We had checked out a couple of other DJ's but they all seemed very run of the mill and in most cases, we had to pick our music from a very long list. We almost chose our wedding date around your availability and we or are guests were not disappointed. We were really happy with you from our initial meeting right through to the end of the wedding night. You played exactly what we requested and mixed it with your own funky music so it suited all the age groups at our wedding. From what I remember, some of the tunes seemed to incite some crazy dancing on and off the dance floor. As we were not the most organised couple, we really appreciated your expertise and the time you gave us in advance of the wedding so it was all hassle free.

Thanks again and hope to see you in the Sugar Club soon..."

"There are many things to get right when organising a wedding and the music is definately one of them so when we were picking our DJ we weren't going to get a 'generic brand' DJ we wanted someone we knew, someone we liked, someone really really good!

Aidan Kavanagh is a real professional, talented and kind. He communicated with us all the time in the lead up to our wedding and took note of our musical preferences and tunes we really wanted in the set. Aidan worked very well with the band both logistically and musically, he setup his equipment at the same time as the band so he could follow smoothly from where the band left off and kept everyone on the dance floor.

Aidan's set was magnificent, his eclectic mix of tunes had something for everyone, there was't moment in the night where the dance floor was empty. It is rare for people to speak emphatically about the music at a wedding, they usually say nothing, but all night our guests came to us saying variations of 'THE DJ IS DEADLY!'. In short Aidan made us look cool and speaking for myself (the groom) thats a feat in itself.

Aidan regularly plays at the Sugar Club on Leeson St. do yourself a favour and check him out."

"We highly recommend Aidan as DJ based on our recent experience. He met up with us twice in advance & was always available for advice in the months leading up to the wedding. He gave great attention to detail & asked us to consider many things which we wouldn't have thought about. He played a great mix of music & went down a storm on our wedding night. All in all, a superb service from start to finish.

"We had heard Aidan at a friends wedding and liked the music so much we knew we wanted him to DJ at ours. We met up a few weeks before to discuss what sort of music we wanted. Aidan was great, he listened really well and on the night was able to read the mood to keep the party going until late. Can't recommend him highly enough, very friendly and professional as well"

Royal Irish Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire, October 2004

"We were over the moon with Aidan’s set. He played the tunes we had asked for, at exactly the right time. Aidan is a real pleasure to deal with – friendly, co-operative and amusing. He hummed songs to help us remember tracks, and we had a real laugh. Some of the wedding planning was hell, but this was fun."

"Aidan met up with us several times – we had already seen him playing at the Sugar Club and really liked his mix of music. We are into different types of music and Aidan was able to stretch across lots of genres to fit in our various tastes. Like us, Aidan really loves music, and this comes across; it’s more than just a job for him."

After seeing Aidan play at our friend`s wedding we knew he would be perfect for our big day. After we spoke with Aidan and booked him, he took the time to meet with us and discuss our giant list of do`s and don`t for the music. He really made this a fun activity, as we had to be honest and tell each other what music we actually really likes!!

On the day itself, Aidan was superb, he really knows how to get a crowd (even as mixed as ours), going. Aidan can judge the mood the people at the wedding are in and he adjusts his mixes accordingly. I think Aidan just loves to set himself a challenge to see how long he can keep the entire wedding party dancing for!!

What more can be said about how brilliant Aidan is, other than he has been asked to play at every wedding we have been at since, and if he cannot do the wedding the bridal party almost apologize.

"Aidan’s music made a huge difference to our wedding – we had spent hours discussing the playlist with him, and this paid off. We got his number from the Camembert Quartet, who played on the night, and Aidan’s set went down really well with all our guests."

Dominic and Marguerite
Rathsallagh House, Co. Wicklow, April 2004

"Although we couldn’t manage a meeting with Aidan beforehand, he was happy to discuss music in depth over the phone, and the results were great. He suggested to us that we bring our own stuff along, as we are into music ourselves, and he was happy to play some tracks from the cds we supplied. We were so pleased with him, in fact, that we asked him to playat a party celebrating ten years of business for Marguerite’s company. The party was a roaring success, with a playlist drawn almost entirely from 1994, the year of the company’s foundation!"

Mark and Cliona
Marquee at a family house, June, 2004

"Aidan met up with us twice beforehand and paid real attention to detail, which was a relief – getting a wedding organised is stressful enough without worrying about the music, and it was clear that he really knew what he was doing. Aidan was a real hit with Cliona’s dad, who was impressed with his good manners and patience throughout a long night. (In fact, he has just said that he wants to give Aidan a bit more money!) So – thanks to Paul and Emma, who passed on Aidan’s number after he did a fantastic job at their wedding."

Tom and Chelita
La Stampa, Dublin August 2003

"Played the tunes we wanted to hear – and, some which I had forgotten about – fantastic. Aidan played on and on, into the early hours, and made a great impression. Lots of people have since asked for his number because they had such a brilliant time – the dance floor was full all night long."

Shaun and Hazel
City West Hotel, Dublin, July 2003

"Getting the music right on the night is far too important to leave to chance. Aidan is unusual in his willingness to invest time with the couple beforehand; he gives a personalised service, and tailors music to match your tastes, ensuring that it fits in with the whole idea for the day. When Aidan asked me for this reference I didn’t hesitate, as I will always recommend him highly to friends getting married”

Corrina and Dermot
Kinnity Castle, March 2003

"Since I work in radio myself, I am a bit fussy! However Aidan certainly did all we wanted, and more. We didn’t have a band, so that put more pressure on Aidan to play a good set, and he varied the pace and the style throughout the evening, helping to create atmosphere for different phases of the party."

Anthony and Pauline
Raheen House Hotel, Clonmel, May 2002

"Aidan is an old friend, but that is not why we asked him to do our wedding! We asked Aidan because he has played at so many parties and weddings we have been to over the years, and always made us get up and dance. He is fantastic at ‘reading’ the dance floor and keeping things going, and certainly made all the difference to our party."

Fiona and Sean
Johnstown House Hotel, Co. Kildare, December 2001

"Well, if I was ever planning to get married again, I’d have to hire Aidan again! Seriously – he was fabulous. He was so open, so, no matter how weird the request he was happy to play the track and it was always seamlessly incorporated into his set. And most importantly, the dance floor was always full, with guests from 18 to 80 all having a ball."

Mark and Yvonne
Raheen House Hotel, Clonmel, May 2001

"Can’t recommend Aidan too highly – he is so professional but still a good laugh, lovely to deal with, you couldn’t do better. The dancing went on all night and the atmosphere was great."

Andrew and Caoimhe
King’s Inn, Dublin, 2001

"Aidan was brilliant – just as well, since the band weren’t…Anyway, Aidan had the dance floor rockin’ all night. Have often recommended him for film industry parties, such as wrap parties, as well as friends’ weddings."

Cian and Deirdre
Sutton Castle, 2000

"Recently Aidan did a birthday party for us, as we were so pleased with his gig at our wedding. If you are seriously into music yourself, Aidan is the man – he is passionate about good music and mixes tracks seamlessly, and sometimes surprisingly, to keep the dance floor full and buzzing."

Tom and Jennifer
Luttrellstown Castle

"We were at our wit’s end to know how to find a good dj for our wedding, but then one Saturday we ended up at the Sugar Club and heard Aidan play. He was really willing to play stuff we wanted, such as Dutch music, as we had family and friends over from Holland. Originally we wanted a band who then had to pull out, and Aidan more than made up for this – the dancing went on and on."
