Unlike
many DJs, I offer a completely personalised service. By chatting on
the phone first, I begin to establish your likes and dislikes, and
then prepare a draft music list to send you. This will arrive with
one or two of my own mix CDs to help give you a flavour of my style;
and I usually suggest coming down to see me play.
We can then
meet up – at your own place, if you like, which would also
allow us to look through your own collection of music. However,
I’ve occasionally had to resort to humming tunes.… It’s
also a good idea to discuss the demographics of the guest list,
and the schedule for the evening’s music. Given my knowledge
base, I might be able to suggest one or two possible bands, but
this is not always the case. Click here
for styles of music played.
I have played
a huge variety of venues, from the flashy to the laidback. In case
you might find it useful, I’ve listed most – though
not all – of them here:
